About SFBid
SFBid is an online bidding system that automates the bid and proposal creation, submission, and evaluation process. SFBid will be used by contract owners and contract administration staff across the city to increase the efficiency and visibility of the city contracting process. In addition, potential city vendor users will use the system to find new contract opportunities, communicate with city staff, and submit proposals electronically.
SFBid was launched in 2014 by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is a department of the City and County of San Francisco that provides retail drinking water and waste water services to San Francisco, wholesale water to three Bay area counties, and green hydroelectric and solar power to San Francisco's municipal departments.
